Is the view lounge worth it? The view lounge is great for drinks and obviously the view as well. We got the octopus as a shareable. It wasn’t at all chewy but slightly dry for my liking. The drinks were great and ambience is 5/5.

What was your Christmas dinner like at the view? We had a lovely Christmas dinner at The View. After spending 3 nights in Lake Placid, dining at some of the fanciest places there, The View had the perfect combination of excellent food, gracious staff and cozy, Christmas-y ambience. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with our two adult children.
